Welcome to 1st Waitara Scout Group!

We offer fun Scouting programs to help young people develop leadership skills and build resilience in boys and girls from 6 to 18 years of age.  This is done through many outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, water activities and rock craft activities.  Please check out the Gallery to see some of these activities.

Our Scout hall is located at 80 Palmerston Road, Hornsby and our sections meet at the following times during school terms:

• Joey Scouts (6 - 8 yrs) : Monday 5:30 - 6:30 pm
• Cub Scouts (8 - 11 yrs) : Monday 7:00 - 8:30 pm
• Venturers (14 - 17 yrs) : Tuesday 7:30 - 9:30 pm
• Scouts (11 - 14 yrs) : Wednesday 7:00 - 9:00 pm

In order to experiance first hand what Scouting is all about you can come along for 6 weekly meetings for free before you decide to join.  To do this, click the Registration option then select the [New Member] option to register your child.
